IMG_6754 editsWell, if you’re read my side bio and have explored on my blog a little, you probably have a better idea of who I am!

I am completely and totally, 100%, me. I think if you’re going to be anyone, it should at least be yourself. Putting on a mask every morning is pretty time-consuming, so let’s think of this place as a MASK-FREE-ZONE. I promise to be brutally honest with my scruples and mistakes, and I promise to do my best to never give the impression that I have it all together. I regularly don’t. I spill drinks, trip over flat surfaces, and talk to myself. I love my family, dislike Tuesdays, create remarkable snowmen, destroy T-shirts, blunder through school, survive hot weather, fear spiders, borrow sugar, post entries, walk my dog, invent catch-phrases, burn popcorn, chew gum, give hugs, invite love, compose stories, race time, and welcome life.IMG_6770 edit

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.”

I think that maybe we tend to look at things as fixed. We think that just because the world has decided something has to be one way, that’s how it is and always should be. I like to be just a little bit more Out-Of-The-Box. One of my favorite people said: “I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, it’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life’s realities.” Dr. Seuss knew what he was talking about! Look at life creatively. Look at the world as a place that you can change! A place where your fingerprints are going to make a difference. Where the words you say, and the people you touch, will have a part in changing the world! You heard me! THE WORLD!!!
